It all started with a few single Mom’s taking a tumble off the roof of a building to her death, and it’s about to go head to head with the likes of George Clooney, the High Pitch Erik of Hollywood, who seems to take the case very lightly and spend millions of dollars on the legal expenses.
Talisman, like the rest of the country, has also been enthralled by the alleged suicide of the Corbett’s and their Liz Smith, who went to Hollywood to secure her win. Talisman Courts will be taking its cues from Ms. Smith and the mass of lawyers who have tried to spend money on the best arguments.
Talisman is not a show. Instead it’s an excellent example of what I call a “Law and Disorder Competition” as lawyers compete to prove that they have the best legal talent and will defeat another law firm’s
attempts
to put them in jail.
Talisman Casualty Lawsuits is all about is competing against lawyers who seek out cases like suicidal mothers. Now, to be fair, there are some attorneys who go down to literally just get a few bucks from the rich and famous, and who will take on cases like their clients, but Talisman Courts won’t put this kind of people in their audience.
Talisman Courts is a better “Law and Disorder” show. It has
something
of the mob mentality to it and is serious about watching the lawyers fight for their rights.
Walter Phillips the lawyer is really set on protecting his client. In addition to any personal motives he may have, this is definitely a lawyer of principle, rather than who seems to throw enough money at the problem.
In my opinion Talisman Courts has several qualities that are lacking in the other laws, or even the mass produced Talisman Casualty Lawsuits crime shows. It brings the lawyers to a place where they can discuss the situations and get to know each other. It also lets the lawyers realize that the crisis is more about lawyers than criminals.
Talisman Courts actually shows the lawyers that they’re not always going to be right, and that they need to stay their course. It forces them to look at the other side of the issue, and realize that the problem isn’t always about money.
On the other hand Talisman Courts doesn’t take sides. There is no one lawyer who is the “Good” one, or the “Bad” one, there is no sense of “us vs.”
Talisman is really a show about “Law and Disorder,” as lawyers tend to go to extremes to win, or win the only way they know how. Talisman Courts tends to avoid the extremes in order to truly be about the lawyers and their cases.
